This Summer the USC Viterbi School of Engineering will offer two options for the SURE program.

In direct partnership with the Amazon Corporation, the USC-Viterbi School of Engineering and Amazon have developed a Summer Undergraduate Research experience that focuses on the fields of artificial intelligence, computer science/engineering, and robotics in an academic-industry collaboration. The Amazon SURE program will focus on undergraduate students from backgrounds historically underrepresented in STEM. Selected students will receive:
- Travel to and from Los Angeles
- Campus housing
- $650 weekly stipend
- Health Insurance
- Designated time working directly with Amazon
- Industry and Academic mentoring
Viterbi School of Engineering-SURE Program:
The Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) provides outstanding undergraduate students with the opportunity to compete for positions in SURE that allows them to spend 8 weeks in Los Angeles working on cutting-edge research projects under the supervision of Viterbi Faculty and current PhD students.
