Welcome to UC Irvine! If you are looking for a 2-unit course to help you with your transition to UCI, please consider enrolling in the ENGR 92 course.

This course is designed to help you:

  • Build a community and network of student peers in engineering and computer sciences
  • Provide you a structured experience to enhance your study skills, time management, and academic and career strengths
  • Learn about UCI resources to support your academic success
  • Meet new UCI faculty and staff who will support your academic career

This course is only offered in the Fall quarter.

Our 2-unit course is one quarter long, typically offered in the fall or winter.

Students must come to Engineering 92 with a desire to learn and be challenged.

First year transfer students are welcome to enroll in Engineering 92.

This course is typically taken as pass/fail.

Engineering 92 will provide you a structed experience to enhance your study skills, time management and academic and career strengths. Along with meeting UCI faculty and staff who will support your academic career, you will also build a community and network of student peers in engineering and computer science.
