UCLEADS Application Now Open!

We are currently in the process of recruiting our next cohort of UC LEADS Scholars.
🔍 Qualifications:
- Seeking dedicated sophomores (or juniors with a five-year plan) in STEM with a Graduation date of 2026.
- Research experience NOT required!
- Interested in pursuing a PhD
- U.S. Citizens, U.S. permanent residents or AB540 eligible
- Identifies educationally or financially disadvantaged
🔬 Program Highlights:
- Two years of faculty-mentored research.
- $4,000 summer research stipend.
- Two PAID summer programs: UCI and another UC campus.
🏆 Showcase Your Genius:
- Present your research at conferences such as SACNAS and ABRCMS. Travel and lodging covered!
- Present your research at the annual UC LEADS Symposium!
📚 Prepare for Grad School:
- Graduate School Preparation Mentorship and workshops
- Guidance applying to Graduate School
- Access to a network of graduate school resources and personnel
We will be hosting two in-person information sessions on Thursday, January 25, 2024 and February 8, 2024 from 12:00 pm – 12:50 pm at the Graduate PostDoctoral Scholar Resource Center. You can RSVP by filling out our form.
